10:15 - 11 - What Teen Volunteers Can Do For Your Library - by Resa Mai (Clearview Library District)
Learn how to get and give the most from your teen volunteers.  Understand what they need from us, what we can expect from them, and how to balance all of our expectations. You will leave armed with the tools to ensure an effective volunteer program,  a sample application, agreement, and evaluation.

Gilpin County Public Library- by Director Michael Carlson

Have you ever wondered what the small mountain town library of Gilpin is up to? Find out directly from their librarians! Hear how the library remains vital to the Black Hawk community amongst rapid changes, including what services they provide and their plans for the future.

11:45 - 12:30 - News from CAL - A presentation from president Elect Carol E. Smith.
Hear from our upcoming CAL President about what she has planned for next year and how you can play a part in the future of CAL.  Bring your ideas for the future of CAL to share as well!  And, remember to renew your CAL membership.
